Besides Marge and Diane, we have many assistants helping us (and work for kibble).

POOKIE: Marge's Quality Control officer watches over all cutting and sewing done in their home. You can rest assured that
she even goes as far as to taste all the thread that is used to make the garments. It's either that, or she wants to floss in
places we don't want to think about...

LILY & ADA: Customer Service. These sisters would like to take your calls, but they have not found a way to use the phone
yet, and they run under the bed covers whenever the phone rings. However, they do love to email folks and tend to walk on
Marge's keyboard whenever she's on the PC. We'd show you a picture of them, but they are camera shy.

DUKE: The only canine member of our team, he loves to ride in the car and has a big crush on the little female sheltie that
works in the store next to the UPS store. With those qualifications, we have made Duke our Shipping Manager. So, please
forgive him if you find tooth marks in your boxes, he's just showing off for the sheltie.

M'lady deWinter: Receptionist. M'lady wants to spend most of her time laying next to the computer or under the chair in
Diane's sewing room. If people are there, so is she. When the phone rings, she is right next to it but if there is a knock on
the door, she usually runs in the other direction.  She may try to answer the phone when you call, but she hasn't quite
managed putting it on hold.

All our assistants came to us from local animal shelters.   Please support your local shelter and give
someone a home if you can.

Shire Attire is a partnership between Marge Conte and her daughter, Diane Martell. Marge has sewn for
Trinity Square Theater's costume shop in Providence, RI. Diane has made historical outfits for the Brigade of
the American Revolution, as well as many friends who attend Renaissance Faires (Rennies!).

Together, along with other women who love to sew, they created Shire Attire to give them more reasons to
spend weekends at Renaissance, Pirate and other historical faires playing "dress-up" with the children who
come into their shop.

The outfits Shire Attire sells are made with a quality and care. They are made to expand (where possible) so
that your purchase will not just last more than a year, but through the use of a few siblings.  This is clothing, not
just costumes.
