Shire Attire is back from the Long Island Pirate Faire! We have just returned from the LI Maritime Museum in West Sayville, NY. We had a blast and so did everyone who attended! Look for the pictures on the FAIRE PICTURES page. Next, we are at Sterling Renaissance Faire for two weekends! Come visit us there! |
2008 Schedule of Appearances!
April 26, 2008: Joanne Lee Photography, Kennebunk, ME
This is a closed event. Joanne had her clients sign-up for sittings and we will be supplying costumes for the
pictures. If you are interested in this type of event, email Diane at diane@shireattire.com.
May 2, 2008: L'Ecole Francaise, Freeport, ME
We are supplying the Kindergarden class with their costumes for the school play, which will be presented
with the Governor of Maine in the audience. We charge a small rental fee and the option for all the children
to buy their costumes. Again, schools can contact us for similar events.
May 24, 2008: The Newport Pirate Festival, Newport, RI
The Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend we will be on the streets of Newport with other pirates! Come be in
our "Fashion Show" at 2:30 pm!
June 14&15 2008: Long Island's First Annual Pirate Festival, West Sayville, NY
This will be held at the Long Island Maritime Museum. Looking forward to this one!
July 26 & 27 AND August 2 & 3, 2008: We will be at Sterling Renaissance Faire!
The first weekend will be Pirate Invasion and the second is the Celtic Celebration! This is Marge's dream!
August 23 & 24, 2008: The Down East Pirate Days, Rockland, ME
The last weekend of August on the coast of Maine! We will be there for the cannon fight!
September 13, 2008: Miracles in Motion Medieval Faire, Swanzey, NH
To benefit the Therapeutic Riding program at this site. Those who know us, know Kari will do ANYTHING to
assist horses and riders.
September 20 & 21, 2008: The Salem Pirate Faire, Salem, MA
Winter Island Park will be alive with Dead Pirates and we will be there with our wares for the second year!
October 25, 2008: ISD Renaissance Festival, Greenwich, CT
This Saturday, we will be entertaining the queen in our shop as we fit the beautiful princesses and regal
knights in our clothing!
We do apologize to our fans in CT, we will not be able to commit to CTRF this year. Perhaps we will be back
next year...
We are still waiting on some faire applications to be approved, we will be adding to this list as we are accepted to
more events this season! This season is still subject to cancellation if necessary.
